Playing turn of the Century Music presents the problem of "how do you select new pieces."  At the turn-of-the-century, 10's of thousands of banjos were produced each year.  Therefore you can imagine all the tunes that were written or arranged for banjo.  The American Banjo Fraternity Library has more than 3,000 pieces on file for loan to members.  The Fretted Instrument Guild of America (FIGA) also has a considerable count.
